Hey, just a tidbit because I’m thinking of it.
You have probably seen earthworms who didn’t quite make it to a shady, moist spot and unfortunately died on the sidewalk or pavement. Sad, yes, I agree, but a part of life, no?
I wonder what birds who eat worms think about this. Do they see this as Worm Jerky? Dried, and before the ants get to them, maybe they are a good snack. Better than a Slim Jim.
