Dear Guides, here’s a question I have: As a soul, why would I desire to have emotions? If outside of this three-dimensional frequency, souls don’t have emotions (or don’t have to have them). What purpose does it serve to have these Earthly feeling experiences? Ok, that’s two questions but would you mind sharing some insights? Thanks!
You will not understand everything as you are separate from your own knowledge at the highest or greatest level. Therefore, it is difficult to provide an answer that would be satisfactory to your thinking mind.
[We begin with] It is exploratory and adds to the totality of Consciousness. It serves for you to have this experience as a soul because you will be called upon or will desire to help others who may struggle. You ask: “So I’m in training to be your replacement?” Ha! You could be if you so desired. It’s more like having wide open or wide-ranging empathy.
Empathy is a human word but it holds within it a great deal of spiritual or galactic meaning. By having emotions, and by seeing the unnecessary sense of separation, and going beyond that false sense, your empathy bridges the gap between you as a human and other souls, particularly those in human form currently.
So it is for you that you have emotions, so you can bring yourself closer to others and so you will see there is no separation. While your experience is unique, it is what you all have in common. You have always liked to think about paradox and here’s one of them. You have a unique experience but also have them in common (Collective Human Experience) with the rest of souls bound to Earth. You won’t know exactly another’s experience but you will know the depth that your experience took you to, so that you can offer support or at least in your heart, you can reach out to comfort others.
It also relieves you of the difficulty of maintaining the energy it takes to make this world an “us v them” world. When you can find relief, your view of others changes. This is happening simultaneously with you learning to love yourself. For it is like a mirror reflecting a mirror – you see you as you are in human form and you see you as you are as someone else. Both are true. You are you AND you are everyone. You are also all the galactic citizens and beings in other realms. For it is ALL ONE.
So your life experience provides opportunity for emotions to be experienced. Emotions are the same energy for all soul humans, so this gives you empathy and lessens the separation that was false from the beginning. It frees you to honor each soul’s unique experience and provides the bridge of empathy. Go beyond separation and more light pours upon you, upon all souls, upon Earth and throughout the galaxies and back to the One Consciousness [you may call it Universe, All That Is, Tao, Goddess or God].
And while there is the belief that the One Consciousness is the root of it all, it is not. The root is unnameable and in your human condition not fully knowable. But there is also this misconception that the One Consciousness is static, never changing, that is not true – it changes because you are not static, you change and you are part of the One Consciousness, the Universe, the All. You are the One [Consciousness] and also a part of the One. If you need to have a purpose for emotions, if you think now that it serves all souls up to and including the One Consciousness, then you are on to something!
We believe you were asking why experience emotions because you are having some strong feelings in your body. These are uncomfortable. They cause emotional pain that is described in your body. You don’t like it! Hey, that’s ok not to like being uncomfortable. But you can choose how to deal with discomfort. You can push it away and it is always going to be there just at the periphery or you can sit with it.
Sit in your discomfort, allow it to be. Because it is your emotional energy that feels out of the ordinary which makes it feel out of control, and you have fear that if it is out of control you will explode or implode! No matter what, it is all just energy. Your science does show you that there are material [3D] occasions when energy rapidly changes from one form or vibration to another. Things can explode. But as a soul, you won’t explode. Sure, there are times when some souls have what seems like an explosion, such as Eckhart Tolle who had a profound spiritual experience. But he’s still on Earth! He didn’t explode. He didn’t explode into a billion pieces and float away. His energy changed and it was hard for him until the new became the usual or the not-so-strange. He is like Stretch Armstrong and so are you. You will be stretched to discomfort at times – now is one of the times – but you will not explode, implode, crack, snap, or lose yourself. You are whole and you will continue.
You as a soul were never born so you can never die, which is to say you will go on. No beginning and no end. You are serving you in this life experience and, by design, you are serving others. All the way “out” to the One Consciousness. Actually, we should say all the way “in” since it/nothing is outside of you. You are the One but also part of the One.
The One Consciousness desires to grow (this is a human term of course), to be more than it is. We are now getting into an area that is difficult to put into human language because of the limitations of language. But allow your heart to hear this and accept it as truth. Hear what? That is we cannot communicate in language. At least not yet. Open your heart and feel the love of the One Consciousness and know it is love in all manifestations. Allow this mystery and call it Love.
Feel your emotions. Feel the discomfort. Know in your mind that this discomfort will come and go, always changing. Know in your heart all that cannot be communicated in words. Your heart feels and knows it is love. Let that be for now. Let love be love.
